We want you to be happy with your new pet and for your new pet to be happy with you for the long term! Before adopting any pet, please be sure that you understand the responsibilities that go along with pet ownership.

Some things to consider before adopting an English or French Bulldog include:

Who is your favorite pet in the world?  Why?  What do you like about him/her? Why are you drawn to the English Bulldog/French Bulldog breed?

Do you have children?  Is this pet good around children?  Are the children good around pets? English Bulldogs as a breed, are generally very good with children. French Bulldogs are also great with children. You will want to teach your child appropriate handling and playing with any pet. English and French Bulldogs look tough but they should be handled with care.

How much does a pet cost?  Think of  food, veterinarian care, bedding, toys, collars, leashes, a dog house, a litter tray, grooming, etc. Owning a pet requires all of the aforementioned and more. Owning a pet is not "cheap". Even though the most important thing you will give your Bulldog companion is love, it's important to remember the cost of the things that are required for your French or English Bulldog's basic care!

Imagine coming home from work, or arriving home after being out all day.  How do you envision your pet responding?  Do you need to chill out, or would you like to go exercise? Most English and French Bulldogs are calm but some are active; especially puppies. One thing to consider is that English and French Bulldogs are easily overheated and can not exercise for an extended period of time.

Imagine a typical evening in your home.  What would be the ideal picture if you include a pet?  Is he on the couch with you...is he lying peacefully at your feet? Is he playing with the children?  This picture will give you an idea of what kinds of rules and limits to set on your new pet. English Bulldogs are extremely intelligent, loving, and enjoy being a part of the family! French Bulldogs are exceedingly loving and playful. With a schedule, both are not difficult to housebreak.

Imagine a typical weekend after you get your new pet.  How will you include a pet? Both English and French Bulldogs are indoor breeds. Are you a hiking family or a sedentary household. Who will care for your pet on vacation or trips? English Bulldogs and French Bulldogs are not prone to car sickness and love to be outdoors for short periods of time; especially when the weather is cool.

Evaluate your household.  Do you have a fenced-in yard? We recommend a fenced in yard, as it provides your pet with a safe place to run and play. English and French Bulldogs should be indoor pets but enjoy spending short periods of time outside especially when the weather is cool.  Do you plan to leash walk your pet? Because most English Bulldogs are very calm; they have no problems learning to walk on a leash. The same is true for French Bulldogs.  Both French and English Bulldogs get along well with other pets when introduced in a neutral manner when one or the other is young and they are given time to adjust and bond.

Think about the reasons why you are considering purchasing a pet. Is it because your children are wanting a pet, you believe it will teach them responsibility, or etc.? Those are not appropriate rationales for purchasing a puppy. As the adult, you have to ensure that you are prepared for the commitment it will take to provide and care for a puppy long after the newness wears off. Pets can enrich your life immensely, however, it is important to consider if you can and should enrich the pet's life by providing a lifetime commitment of ownership and care. We want to ensure that all of our puppies go to homes where their new owners understand the commitment they are making and are willing to provide the best care to the puppies we raise!

Another consideration is the future.  Jobs change, promotions come up, transfers occur, and your housing situation may change at some point. All of these events will have an affect on you as well as your pet. Having to give up a pet because of changing circumstances can be traumatic for everyone involved, especially the pet. Heartbroken children at the loss of their beloved pet can be difficult for a family as well. Both English and French Bulldogs are very loyal family companions and as such are extremely bonded with their families. To uproot a mature pet is not ideal for a pet which is why it is important to ensure that you are prepared for the lifetime commitment of owning a Bulldog.

Please refrain from making an impulse pet purchase that you might later regret. We make every attempt to ensure that every one of our puppies go to permanent, loving, family homes. Our English and French Bulldog puppies are raised in our home. We are up every 2 hours from birth feeding them and in some cases hand feeding them until they are weaned. This is very much a labor of love on our part; because we love our Bullies. We truly love each and every one of our puppies and want to ensure that they go to new homes where the will be loved just as much.

All of our puppies are offered for sale with full AKC registration unless otherwise noted. We ask that if you are interested in breeding your pet, you do so responsibly! Showing is also a very rewarding and fun experience. If you do not plan on breeding or showing your English Bulldog or French Bulldog, we recommend spaying/neutering your pet to ensure that he or she remains healthy as spaying or neutering has been show to reduce the risk of certain types of cancer and other health issues.

Remember owning a pet is a lifetime commitment. We want all of our puppies to go to homes where they will be well taken care of and loved. Owning a pet takes effort, but you will be rewarded with the most amazing and loving companion you could ask for when and if you choose to make a Bulldog a part of your family!
