Buyer's Responsibilities:
Have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days (72 hours) of delivery/pick-up. If your veterinarian finds a problem that is considered life threatening, Whispering Pines Treasures must be contacted and made aware of the situation within 24 hours.
Our puppies are guaranteed against Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel cough, or other communicable diseases at the time of sale.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RECEIVING A REPLACEMENT PUPPY
1. Have your new English Bulldog puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days (72 hours) of his or her pick-up/delivery.
2. Provide puppy with routine preventive care, such as, but not limited to:
*Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian
*Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations (including Rabies), de-worming, and heartworm prevention as recommended by your veterinarian.
It is the buyer's responsibility to continue with puppy's vaccinations/de-wormings to ensure that he or she has their complete series of puppy shots! Our puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. Buyer understands that at that age, puppy is not fully immunized. Therefore, it is the buyer's responsibility to complete the puppy's scheduled series of inoculations ON TIME in order to protect the puppy and his or her health. In addition, until said puppy is finished with his or her series of puppy vaccinations, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the puppy is not exposed to premises known to be or suspected of being contaminated with any illness that would compromise said puppy, or to expose said puppy to any unhealthy animal.
*Whispering Pines Treasures is not responsible for the health of said puppy after the initial 3 days (72 hours).
If these responsibilities are not fulfilled our guarantee is void.
We feed our puppies DIAMOND puppy food.
Diamond is very well-balanced and provides excellent nutrition to our bullie pups! All of our puppies are fully weaned by the time that they go to their new home and are eating dry puppy kibble! Diamond puppy food is easy to find and is available at many pet stores as well as other stores selling pet food. Just look for it's purple bag with gold labeling. Please note that if you decide to switch your puppy's food, do so gradually so that doing so does not cause your puppy to have an upset tummy. Whether your English Bulldog puppy is shipped to you or we meet, I will provide you with a small bag of Diamond puppy food for your new puppy.
Health Guarantee:
Deposits on our puppies are considered a binding contract indicating that, you, the purchaser of our puppy agrees to purchase the puppy! If you have placed a deposit on one of our puppies, I have considered him or her sold to you and have not offered him to anyone else. Therefore, deposits are non-refundable. This also applies to a puppy that has been paid for in full. If you are placing a reserve deposit on a puppy from a future litter, puppy must be selected by the time the litter is 2 weeks of age. This allows others to pick their puppy in a timely manner as well.
Prior to delivery/shipping , all of our puppies are examined by our veterinarian to ensure optimal health. Each of our puppies will come with a health record documenting all vaccinations, de-wormings, and recommendations for future vaccinations. Again, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that said puppy received all necessary vaccinations to complete the puppy series of shots.
PLEASE NOTE: All of our puppies are sold with FULL AKC registration unless otherwise stated. If possible, we have all of our puppies' AKC paperwork in hand and ready to send when puppy leaves for his or her new home; however for reasons unforeseen, sometimes there is a delay. If this is the case, I will provide you with a copy of both the sire and dam's AKC paperwork and AKC paperwork for your puppy will be sent as soon as they are received via CERTIFIED MAIL! This provides me with a way of tracking the package to ensure it arrives to it's destination!
PLEASE NOTE: We vaccinate and de-worm our puppies ourselves. If your puppy is over 12 weeks of age, he or she will also have a Rabies vaccination; which will be done by our veterinarian. You will receive a tag for your pet's collar as well as a rabies certificate.
Whispering Pines Treasures guarantees your puppy to be free from any genetic hereditary life threatening diseases (i.e., heart murmurs (of severe grade)) that would be severe enough to result in loss of said puppy's life for up to 6 months after delivery to the original buyer of said puppy. If any such condition is found and proven in writing to Seller, from a licensed veterinarian and substantiated by lab tests and/or x-rays and confirmed by our veterinarian, puppy may then be returned to Seller for a replacement.
NOTE: Failure to have your puppy examined within 3 days (72 hours) of purchase, keep your puppy indoors, or if he or she is bred before 18 months of age, our guarantee is void.
NOTE: Minor, breed related, treatable or correctable conditions or any condition that may go away or is considered a condition which puppy will likely outgrow will NOT be covered under our guarantee. Canines are just like humans in the fact that they will develop some health issues during their lifetime. As with any breed, the buyer is encouraged to research the breed thoroughly before committing to purchase a puppy from Whispering Pines Treasures. Therefore, buyer understands that English Bulldogs can have non life-threatening issues such as cherry eye, hip or joint problems, elongated pallet, allergies, skin problems, demodectic mange, and etc. These are common issues in English Bulldogs and are not covered under our health guarantee. The buyer is responsible for all vet bills incurred with said puppy along with transportation cost for his/her delivery and return should an issue arise in which a puppy is returned to Whispering Pines Treasures.
NOTE: We do not cover hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, parasites, ear mites, and viral or bacterial infections as these are common occurrences in dogs and can easily be treated. We do not cover any disease or condition that may arise as a result of stress or any other environmental factor such as neglect. Buyer is aware that English Bulldogs are prone to heat stroke and therefore is responsible for providing an environment that is conducive to their heat sensitivity.
NOTE: We work with all of our puppies on the housebreaking process. This does not mean that as a new pet owner, you will not have to work with your puppy for him or her to adjust to their new surroundings. It takes time, effort, and commitment on your part to ensure your puppy's successful integration into your family. If you purchase one of our puppies that is older than 12 weeks, be aware that extra effort will need to be made on your part to ensure your new puppy's integration. That is a part of responsible pet ownership!
A puppy showing a congenital defect will be replaced as follows:
Puppy must show the defect by 6 months of age and be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian. Whispering Pines Treasures must be notified immediately upon onset of the problem in writing with a report from the veterinarian. Whispering Pines Treasures' veterinarian will talk with the buyer's veterinarian, interpret the report and if he concurs with the findings, a replacement puppy will be given.
If you decide to return your puppy for a replacement puppy the original puppy must be returned within 7 days from the time you notify us of said condition. Please note that in order for our guarantee to be valid the original puppy must be returned. Under no circumstances will the buyer be allowed to keep the original puppy and receive a replacement puppy.
Although a concentrated effort is made by Whispering Pines Treasures to breed sound, healthy English Bulldog puppies and dogs according to AKC standards, Buyer should understand that due to the nature of any breed, they are predisposed to certain medical anomalies and that a normal dog may have one or two of these conditions during his/her lifetime.
Anyone who is interested in purchasing a pet for their family should research the breed that he or she is interested in thoroughly before purchasing a puppy! Becoming familiar with health issues that are common for a certain breed gives the new owner an advantage if their puppy should develop a problem. Also it is very important to have a veterinarian that is knowledgeable about the breed of pet you have chosen as you will want to have your pet examined on a regular basis to keep him or her healthy. English Bulldogs look tough but they are delicate, easily stressed, and require added attention and care.
If a puppy is to be returned to Whispering Pines Treasures, the returned puppy must be returned to Whispering Pines Treasures in excellent condition other than the specified problem; this means that all AKC papers and health records and any other documentation deemed necessary must be returned within 1 week of puppy being returned to us. After puppy and all proper paperwork is returned, the buyer will then qualify for a replacement puppy. All puppies covered under our guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give refunds.
If you, as the buyer, are unwilling to return said puppy for a replacement along with all AKC paperwork, a complete copy of your English Bulldog's medical records, as well as proof that your puppy was examined within 3 days of his or her arrival to you, our guarantee is void. We will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred nor will we be a part of the recovery process if buyer does not agree to return said puppy for replacement.
Buyer is responsible for transportation costs of returned puppy as well as transportation costs for replacement puppy. Please note that for safety reasons, we do not allow people to come to our home. Please consider if this is a problem for you before placing a deposit on one of our puppies. Our guarantee applies to the original puppy purchased from Whispering Pines Treasures only and is non-transferable to a second party or to a replacement puppy!
A replacement puppy will be from Whispering Pines Treasures's next available litter. He/she will be of the same gender as the original puppy purchased from Whispering Pines Treasures. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the same parents as the original puppy purchased but will be from comparable bloodlines. If we have no litters of puppies available for a period of one year after original puppy is returned; we will issue a refund for the purchase price of original puppy.
Our replacement guarantee will be terminated if the puppy being replaced shows signs of abuse, does not have up to date vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and worming/fecal records that have been documented appropriately by a licensed veterinarian. Any physical problem that could be the result of an injury or neglect is not covered under our guarantee!
Whispering Pines Treasures guarantees a healthy companion pet. We do not guarantee fertility, fitness for breeding, or fitness for showing. Adult sizes are an estimate based on our experience and recognition of the English Bulldog breed. No guarantees are made as to size, build, or color puppies will be when they are grown as it's hard to know this information when said puppy will continue to grow until 1 year of age. We are not responsible for sire or dam's ability to breed, litter size, or quality of puppies produced if you choose to breed your English Bulldog.
A show quality puppy is sold as such based on the buyer's judgement at time of sale. Whispering Pines Treasures English Bulldogs do come from show quality stock as supported by lineage and pedigrees; however, we make no guarantees on individual puppy's show success or individual puppy's continued development.
It is the buyer's sole responsibility for veterinary bills incurred from breeding your English Bulldog if you choose to do so. We ask that if you choose to purchase one of our English Bulldog puppies strictly as a pet and you have no intention of breeding or showing, that you spay or neuter your pet when he/she reaches 6 months of age to promote his/her health.
