Bucky is an outstanding English Bulldog! He has impressive confirmation with short, stocky legs, a large head, and tons of wrinkles with an adorable teddy bear face. Bucky has an even temperament; he is very affectionate, playful, and at times downright mischievous. Bucky enjoys good health, with no known genetic defects. Bucky comes from champion bloodlines also! His grandfather is CH. Legacy’s Cajun Zeus. Zeus was an amazing English Bulldog with over 170 Best of Breed wins, over 24 Best of Opposite Sex wins, 65 plus group placements, and he also earned 40 Specialty Wins. Jax was also the 1998 and 1999 Pedigree Award winner for #1 Bulldog. Bucky looks a lot like him!
In the past, we have been extremely discerning regarding Bucky siring litters that were not our own. We did not want Bucky to be overused. With the arrival of Chubby’s puppies, my mom and I re-evaluated our feelings. We feel that it would be wonderful to see Bucky’s characteristics in future generations of English Bulldogs! Bucky is a proven male and has sired multiple litters.
Bucky is now standing at stud to approved AKC registered females! He is DNA certified through AKC. We are able to ship chilled semen overnight if needed. Rush shipments are also available for same day shipping. If you are interested in scheduling a breeding with Bucky for your female contact me as soon as you know for certain you are going to breed your female. It is never too early to prepare for the shipping process and if at all possible planning ahead will make a special event in breeding your female less hectic and worrisome for you.

We are able to meet at local vet clinics with one of our males, drive one of our males to your vet (contact us details), and we also ship semen within the U.S. We are also willing to drive up to a 50 mile radius of Poteau, Ok with the chilled semen if you should prefer to do that instead of having it shipped to you for the extra costs related to shipping. The fee for that service is $50.; which would cover the gas expenses to and from. The fee for taking Bucky to our vet for extraction is $50. which covers the vet expenses for extraction.
We use Fed-Ex's overnight service exclusively as it is most dependable in our opinion. The cost for this service is $100.- $150. depending on your specific location. As soon as we discuss your interest in using one of our studs for stud service, let us know as soon as possible when your female's expected implant or A.I. date will be so we can make arrangements with our vet for extraction and prepare the shipping arrangements so that the transport of semen to you is seamless. ***NOTE: Again, the sooner you are able to let us know when you would like the semen shipped; the easier it will be for me to schedule an appointment for our male to be taken to the vet for extraction and the semen shipped to you on the necessary date.
We have shipping supplies on hand for same day emergency stud services for instances when stud service is wanted with one of our males on short notice. If you need same day semen shipping contact us by phone as early in the day as possible!
Stud service is available to approved females ONLY!!! All females MUST be AKC registered, in good health, current on vaccinations/de-wormings, and must be entering their second heat cycle at a minimum. If we do not feel that a female is healthy enough to be bred we may choose to not provide stud service with Bucky.
We do not recommend that females over the age of 6 years old be bred; therefore, we do not offer stud service to females that are over 6 years old. The normal stress of pregnancy is too much for an older dog; especially english bulldogs which are very fragile.
We require a completed stud contract for EVERY stud service we provide.
Payment for stud fee, shipping expenses, and extraction must be paid for before semen is shipped. This can be done through a direct bank transfer same day if time is of the essence. If we meet, payment for all stud service related expenses must be paid for at that time.
When one of our male English Bulldogs are used for stud service we expect that the female's owner understands the responsibility of producing a litter of English Bulldog puppies. Breeding your female is the start of a time consuming process that demands your female recieve the best care during her pregnancy. We expect that the female english bulldog will recieve the best care during her pregnancy. Anything less is not acceptable and would place both her and her future puppies at risk.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about stud service, Bucky, or if you would like to make arrangements to do stud service in the future.
Stud Fee: $400.
Bucky is the proud father to the majority of our available puppies! Below are a few photos of his beautiful puppies. Many of them have his brindle markings; which resemble his grandfathers' as well as his awesome personality!

English Bulldogs are usually artificially bred; which means that the male and female do not breed naturally to result in a litter of puppies. This is because english bulldogs are very prone to heat stroke and are not built for natural breeding easily enough to ensure they do not have a heart attack. There is also chance that an infection could be transmitted during free breeding.
With our female English Bulldogs we elect to have the surgical implant done. It is the most effective way to breed your female. It has a 98% success rate. If your female can produce a litter; more than likely, she will do so if she has the implant procedure. It is precise and there is no guesswork involved like there is with artificial insemination. Your vet would send off a blood sample from your female and receive back lab results with exact hormone levels that tell you and your vet the exact date your female is ready to be implanted. Then, extraction is done from your male on the date that your female is ready to be bred. Semen from the male english bulldog is introduced directly into the female ; which reduces the travel time of the sperm and the loss of sperm. We recommend doing the implant with your female if you seriously want to produce a litter with your female. It is cost effective and guarantees that your female will conceive.
With the surgical implant there is no guesswork on when your female will be ready to be bred or her due date. That in and of itself is very valuable and allows you to ensure that your female is safe.
Another way to breed your female english bulldog is using artificial insemination (AI). It is an older technique. AI is less expensive than the surgical implant procedure, however, it is less effective. With the AI procedure there is less of an accurate reading of your female's progesterone level and less of a chance that your female will conceive. AI is not as effective as the surgical implant and there is guesswork in when your female will be ready to be bred and when your female is due to whelp. For that reason, we do not believe that the inexpense of the AI procedure is beneficial when compared to the assurance of your female's precise progesterone level, breeding date, and whelp date.
For reasons I have already mentioned, we recommend the surgical implant for all female english bulldogs. We do not recommend free breeding your female under any circumstances. We also do not recommend that a female english bulldog ever be allowed to whelp her puppies on her own. It can cause exertion to your female and undue stress to her puppies. Puppies that are free whelped may be in the birth canal for longer periods of time. If allowed to whelp on their own, female english bulldogs usually become too tired to push even when having contractions. Severe complications can result including heart attack for your female or lack of essential oxygen to the puppies. It is not worth the risk to your female english bulldog or to her puppies! Their safety should be of top concern and priority.
