This contract is an agreement between the undersigned for the stud services of the dog listed below to the female listed below. It must be read, signed, and returned to Whispering Pines Treasures with the required documentation listed below before stud services are provided.
On this ______ day of ________, 200__, ______________________, herein referred to as Stud Dog Owner, and
the owner of _________________________, AKC#_______________, and ____________________________,
herein referred to as female owner, and the owner of _____________________________, AKC# _____________,
hereby agree to breed their respective stud dog and female, by artificial insemination or surgical implant to include the following terms and conditions:
Female owner's Responsibilities:
1. Female owner must provide Whispering Pines Treasures with a copy of the female’s AKC registration certificate and a copy of female’s pedigree. This information will only be used for Bucky’s breeding record and will not be provided to any third party.
2. Payment in full of the stud fee of $400.00 to Whispering Pines Treasures should be paid when we meet on the agreed upon date/time or before semen is shipped.
3. All veterinary expenses relating to the female’s breeding including artificial insemination and implant fees. Whispering Pines Treasures would be pleased to offer suggestions, advice, and tips for those who are new to rearing English Bulldog puppies, however it is the female owner’s responsibility to care for and ensure the survival and development of puppies born as a result of this breeding.
4. Female owner agrees to provide stud dog owner a progress update on female to confirm pregnancy and birth of puppy or puppies.
5. Female owner understands that semen shipping containers must be returned within 10 days or upon receipt of semen and utilization.
Stud dog owner's Responsibilities
1. The stud dog owner agrees that collection of' sperm will be made on the dates provided by the female’s owner to ensure optimal breeding of the female.
2. The stud dog owner agrees that the collections shipped must be considered viable for breeding by veterinary standards for artificial insemination. Collections will be shipped in appropriate cooled container on a mutually agreed upon date between stud dog owner and female’s owner.
3. The stud dog owner agrees that shipment of the collections will take place on the dates requested, unless in the event of a natural disaster or national emergency, which results in the halt of veterinary services and/or transport carriers.
Mutual agreements by both parties:
*Both parties understand that when stud dog owner ships semen; it will be sent directly to female owner's veterinarian for the AI or implant procedure. Artificial insemination or implant must be done by a board certified; licensed veterinarian.
*Both parties agree that this stud service agreement is for stud service only, and is not to be construed as a guarantee of live puppies upon whelping. Both parties agree that one live puppy constitutes a litter.
*Both parties agree that their own dog involved in this breeding is in good health, including all vaccinations and de-wormings.
*Both parties agree that if the female fails to become pregnant, one return stud service from the Stud dog owner will be given to the same female with no additional stud fee within one year of the first mating to original owner of the female.
*The female’s owner agrees to pay for all veterinary and shipping fees associated with a return stud service, if one transpires.
*Both parties agree that if the stud dog passes away, a return stud service will be offered by a stud dog of the stud dog owner’s choice, owned by Stud dog owner. However no monetary refund of any kind will be made in such instance. If stud dog owner sells original stud dog used by female's owner; female's owner agrees to use another stud dog owned by stud dog owner at the time of desired repeat stud service. No monies will be refunded to female's owner in the event that seller sells original stud dog used for stud service.
*Both parties agree that the stud dog’s owner shall not be responsible for semen shipping delays by Fedex or other carriers used to ship semen.
*The female’s owner agrees to pay all shipment fees and/or delivery charges to the stud dog owner in addition to the stud fee. The female’s owner also agrees to return shipping boxes via regular mail within 10 days.
*Both parties agree that in the event of a female not conceiving Whispering Pines Treasures requires a signed statement on letterhead from your vet along with a signed photograph of your female before we will do a repeat stud service. The letter must contain details of the breeding done including whether implant or A.I. was performed, date or dates performed, as well as prospective due date, and what his or her conclusion is as it pertains to the female's pregnancy status. This verification must be mailed from your vet's office to us directly and must be done within 3 days of notifying us of your female not conceiving. NOTE: We do not give credit discounts toward our available puppies in lieu of a repeat stud service.

The owner of the stud dog and owner of the female agree that payment for stud service is $400.00. Female's owner agrees to pay stud fee in full and applicable shipping fees of $________ on day 1 of meeting for artificial insemination or implant or before semen is shipped to agreed upon destination.
I have read the above stud contract and agree to all terms and conditions stated within it, and by my signature, I acknowledge that I have received a copy of this agreement. I understand that both parties are not relying on any verbal statements made and that this contract is binding.
